 Poem Challenge. Using only words given.



"Decrepit" spoke to the crumbling world around her, the decay and neglect that permeated every aspect of her existence. "Passion" represented the fire that burned within her, the fierce intensity of her love that refused to be extinguished. "Sluice" was a reminder of the grimy pits where she labored endlessly, the muck and filth that clung to her skin and stained her soul. "Primal" evoked the raw, untamed desire that pulsed through her veins, the yearning for freedom and release from her chains. "Icy" captured the coldness of her masters, the metallic taste of fear that lingered on her tongue whenever they drew near. "Bubble Gum" was a whimsical touch, a fleeting moment of sweetness in a world devoid of joy and laughter. "Valentine" was a symbol of hope, a promise of love and connection in a place where such things were rare and precious. And finally, "Cake" represented the ultimate luxury, a decadent indulgence that was beyond her wildest dreams. As she poured her heart and soul into her poem.

 Whispers of the willow's plight Where whispers of the willow's plight Meet the soft caress of a gentle breeze, Lives a tale of love's most curious keys. A girl, whose eyes reflect the stars, Finds joy not in the mirth or the bars, But in a dance of passion's might, Where the line of pleasure meets the fight.  No second chance poem.  He'd whisper sweet nothings, a silver tongue, Yet underneath, a heart so wrong, He'd lie and cheat, and never belong, To the world of the decent and the young. One strikes you are out, my dear, Your key to my heart, no longer here, In the game of love, you did steer Wayward paths of deceit and fear.
