No choice to live... In a world not of my choosing, where shadows cast their dreary spell, Where sunsets come without joy, and every dawn is someone else's knell. Life, a tapestry of threads unspun, a tale of sorrow and despair, Where every step is a battle fought, and the air is thick with a heavy care. Not my choice to live this life, oh fate, why hast thou dealt me such a hand? I'd rather lie beneath the earth, free from this world's demand. But the heart within my weary chest beats on, a silent cry, Wishing for the peace of the grave, yet bound to the land so dry. Through the streets of cold, hard stone, where whispers of the lost echo, I walk alone in twilight's cloak, where even the moon won't show. The laughter of the careless youth, their dreams as bright as stars above, All seem like taunts to me, who's destined to live without a love. Not my choice to breathe this air, so thick with pain and dread, I'd rather be where quiet whispers of the dead ar...

The Feeling of Sir Dundee Poem Thanks for a great Valentine's Day date In the quiet of the moonlit night, my heart aches and sigh, For the shadow that you cast upon my soul is vast and deep. When I attempt to speak the words that bid our hearts goodbye, They linger on my trembling lips as if frozen in their sleep. And when I try to leave, my legs betray my will, Stumbling on the path. As I gaze upon the ground that knows our every tread. The stars above, they seem to weep in silent sympathy, As I struggle with the weight of your sweet memory's care. Each time I think I've found the strength to break the tether, Your memory returns, as potent as the dawn's first light. The scent of roses lingers still, a phantom of your grace, A haunting melody of moments lost in time's cruel jest. And though I try to build a wall around my heart's embrace, Your gentle whispers break it down like autumn leaves at rest. With every breath I take, your name is on my tongue, A silent...

Whispers of the willow's plight

Image
Whispers of the willow's plight Where whispers of the willow's plight Meet the soft caress of a gentle breeze, Lives a tale of love's most curious keys. A girl, whose eyes reflect the stars, Finds joy not in the mirth or the bars, But in a dance of passion's might, Where the line of pleasure meets the fight. The pain, a mere instrument, a tool, For her soul to break the cruelest rule, Not the pain itself that makes her swoon, But the power she takes back so soon. With every lash, a silent cry, His control, she lets him tie, But what truly makes her pulse race, Is the trust she's found in his embrace. He wields the whip, so strong and firm, Yet in her heart, it's her soul's turn, To conquer fears, to make them flee, In his power, she finds her liberty. Her body, a canvas of his art, Where love and pain together start, A symphony of desire's tune, Her life's goal is to be immune. To the pain that once had her cowed, Now it's a language she's a...

Let it be. Let me be me. Nothing new.  In the cloak of the moonless night, I tread the solitary street, Where shadows dance and whispers speak, where darkness and doubt may meet. Yet amidst the quietude, a glimmer soft and low, A beacon of hope that whispers, "Let your true self show." O why can't you be you and I be me? In this world where masks are worn so free, Let us shed our disguise, let the truth be told, Embrace it and let it flow, let our hearts be bold. With each step, I take toward my door, I feel the weight of expectations galore. The masks I've worn, the faces old, But tonight, I'll cast them aside, I'll be more. The stars above, though few and faint, Guide me through the murky paint. Their light within, my spirit stirs, A freedom song, an inner flame that burns. O why can't you be you and I be me? In this dance of life, why can't we be free? To live without the fear of scorn, Embrace it and let it be reborn. The breeze, it carries secrets...

Pray to god and the heavens for my peace and hope.  In the hallowed halls of yesteryear, Where whispers of faith did softly play, My heart did pine, in silent cheer, For thee, my love, to gently sway. Yet the era's hand has cruelly turned, To a realm where doubt does loudly call, Where nonfaith souls, their voices burned, And hearts once whole, to ash do fall. Through moonlit nights, in quiet prayer, I've offered up this love of mine, To the heavens, in hope so fair, To find a home that's truly thine. But the winds of change, they do not care, For the hearts that long for steadfast hold. They whisper tales of those who dare To love without the stories old. The question lingers, soft and stark, In every tear that falls like rain, Who'll gather up the broken shards? Who'll heal the wounds that never wane? A ballad sung in tones so low, For hearts that dance between the light and dark, Where shadows play upon the snow, And love must seek a new embark. The stars above,...

Make lemonade  Life handed her lemons, oh so sour, But she mixed them up with a power. Sugar and spice, a dash of flower, Her elixir of life grew more and more profound. Number one, she aimed so high, With a grin that could light up the sky. Her ambition was her lullaby, Her heart beating to the rhythm of the crowd's sigh. Oh, dear diary, she whispered her tales, Of a love so sweet, it made her quail. He came to her like a gentle gale, And filled her life with joy that never pales. But love, it see ems, has a fickle hand, It twists and turns, like desert sand. And so it went, their love so grand, Slipped through the cracks, like grains of time's command. 2/12/2023 for a Prompt for February 13th 2023 Again the dubious wisdom of Inspirobot. Jules Terry.

10 Reasons why I hate dating

Image
10 Reasons Why I Hate Dating In the modern masquerade of love and romance, Where hearts and swipes dance in a digital silence, I find myself adrift in a sea of strange glances, Where dating is a dance with no clear sense of balance. 1. The high of connection, so fleeting and thin, Crashes down with the spotlight on a single sin. A flaw, so minuscule, yet it shatters the mirage, Leaving me in doubt, in the shadow of the barrage. 2. Pockets weigh heavier than the weight of our chat, Dinners and movies, oh the costly rat-a-tat. The price of companionship, a tax so unkind, When all I seek is a soul to unwind. 3. Jealous whispers echo through the night air, While I stand, a statue, not allowed a care. For in this game of hearts, it seems so one-sided, My own feelings, unwelcome, and often derided. 4. The quest for a partner, a quest so untrue, When all I wish is for a bond that's not new, To simply be me, without the façade's reign, But instead, I'm nudged to play the part of th...

RP with a Friend PG Fishing.

Image
RP with a Friend PG Fishing.   Naya (jules.terry) the sensation sending a thrill of excitement through her. With practiced ease, she reeled in the fish, a large and shimmering creature thrashing on the end of her line. "Ok," she said, her eyes shining with delight as she struggled to land the fish in Elena's waiting bucket. "Not her face," she added with a chuckle, remembering the time she had accidentally smacked Elena in the head with a particularly lively catch. The fish flopped around madly as Naya deftly removed the hook, her hands moving with expert precision. "This shall make a good dinner for our owners," she said in an excited tone, imagining the pleased looks on their owner's faces as they ate the fresh fish. 1/1/2025 Jules Terry

Poem Challenge. Using only words given.

Image
Poem Challenge. Using only words given. "Decrepit" spoke to the crumbling world around her, the decay and neglect that permeated every aspect of her existence. "Passion" represented the fire that burned within her, the fierce intensity of her love that refused to be extinguished. "Sluice" was a reminder of the grimy pits where she labored endlessly, the muck and filth that clung to her skin and stained her soul. "Primal" evoked the raw, untamed desire that pulsed through her veins, the yearning for freedom and release from her chains. "Icy" captured the coldness of her masters, the metallic taste of fear that lingered on her tongue whenever they drew near. "Bubble Gum" was a whimsical touch, a fleeting moment of sweetness in a world devoid of joy and laughter. "Valentine" was a symbol of hope, a promise of love and connection in a place where such things were rare and precious. And finally, "Cake" represen...

Panther Poem

Image
Panther Poem In whispers of the emerald glade, The panther's grace, unmasked, displayed, With beauty woven, dreams unfurl, In nature's heart where wild hearts twirl. Each choice a path, through shadowed light, Brave souls embrace their whispered flight. Through every leaf and gentle breeze, Her spirit dances with fierce ease. by Jules Terry 12/8/2024

Port Kar Poem

Image
Port Kar Poem  In the shadowed shores where the wild winds roar, Port Kar pirates dance on the edge of war. With courage afire, hearts beat like drums, In battles of blood, to the bold they succumb. Desire for glory, beneath stormy skies, They flirt with death’s whisper, yet boldly arise. In dreams of new life and treasures weighed down, Each choice echoes loudly; none shall wear a crown. kajira dreams under the moon

Image
kajira dreams under the moon In silken chains beneath the moon, A kajira sighs her secret tune, For beauty's veil and fervent dance, Her heart beats wild in endless trance. With every choice a dream ignites, Desire's flame in darkest nights, While death may shadow love's sweet breath, In servitude she finds new death. by Jules 12/12/2024

The Whispers of the Kajira

Image
The Whispers of the Kajira In shadows deep, where silence reigns, A kajira dreams through love's sweet chains; Her Master’s call, a siren's song, In his embrace, she knows she belongs. Through life and death, she dares to choose, A heart entwined in passion's hues; For even when fate would sever their plight, Her soul is his—forever in flight. by Jules 12/15/2024

Forever Yours

Image
Forever Yours In shadows where the moonlight gleams, A kajira whispers soft her dreams, "My Master, hear my heart’s sweet song, In your embrace is where I belong. With silken chains that bind us tight, In every struggle, there's pure delight. For in this choice I find my fate, To love you deeper as years elate. Through beauty's kiss and death's embrace, We'll dance forever in time and space. My courage blooms like a rose in spring, Each petal falls to the joy you bring. Though worlds may part and oceans rise, Your essence lingers in starlit skies. I am your music, the echo profound, Make me sing my Master; let love abound." With every heartbeat, I am aligned, In the tapestry of life we're entwined. So hold me close as night turns to dawn, For even apart, I am forever yours—on and on. by Jules 12/18/2024

warrior's journey.

warrior's journey. In a world where steel is the ultimate currency, explore the life of a  seasoned warrior who navigates  the treacherous landscapes of  battle and commerce.  Describe how he wields his steel—not just  as a weapon, but as a means to acquire  luxuries and experiences that bring him joy.  What choices does he make with his hard-earned  steel, and how do these choices reflect his values and desires?  Craft a narrative that delves into the relationship  between power, wealth, and the fleeting pleasures of life,  a ll through the lens of a warrior's journey. by Jules 12/20/2024

The Master’s Silence

Image
The Master’s Silence In a land where shadows softly creep, A master stands where the lost souls weep, Amongst the cries of slaves in chains, His heart unmoved by their lingering pains. For battles fought in hearts so frail, Are whispers faint on a warring gale, Adulthood's weight, a relentless tide, While broken bonds in silence collide. by Jules 12/23/2024

The Ashen Ambition

Image
The Ashen Ambition In Gorean heights, the fire's glow, It swallows dreams, takes all we know. Our cities burn, ambitions rise, What have we wrought beneath these skies? If all should end in crimson blaze, Together lost in death’s dark phase. We sought to climb the highest spire, Yet find ourselves consumed by fire.   by Jules 12/24/2024
Image
In Chains of Fire I am kajira, yet she a bondmaid too, In this realm where shadows dance anew, What matters chains when passions burn bright? Together we rise, igniting the night. Share in your warmth, let desire unfold, For beauty lies deep in hearts brave and bold. Though slaves to the world, our spirits reside, In dreams unconfined, where our hopes collide.  by Jules 12/25/2024

Whispers in the Twilight

Image
Whispers in the Twilight Beneath the canopy where shadows play, See me now, a flicker lost in the fray, A ray of light in moondance, I stay In forests whispering secrets away. Hear me now, as echoes twist and weave, A song of desire that few dare believe. Don't ask me to follow; my heart's on its sleeve, In beauty and terror, we dream and deceive.  by Jules 12/27/2024

Whispers of a Shattered Heart

Image
Whispers of a Shattered Heart In shadows deep where sorrows dwell, They say time heals, yet pains compel, Each tick a wound that cuts anew, With every breath, I bitter rue. I long to learn the warmth of love, But fields of grief my heart's made of; The hands that clasped in joyous night, Now linger lost in endless flight. Oh, darkness wraps this fragile frame, A bluesy tune without a name, Can you escape what fate has marked? Will love return when hope has parked? For tears like rivers ebb and flow, And whispers haunt the soul below; Can hearts as fragile as the glass, Withstand the weight of dreams that pass? So here I stand with bruised resolve, Against the tide where shadows evolve; Tell me now, oh echoing night, Can you die from a heart’s lost fight? by Jules 12/29/2024

If I Could Take Us Back

Image
If I Could Take Us Back In whispered dreams where shadows lay, If I could take us back to play, And in each empty space beneath the stars, I’d write "I love you" on gentle guitars. For every tear that fell like rain, Each whispered hope, each softened pain, Flies of ambition winged in flight, Catching glimpses of purest light. But time, a thief in dark disguise, Steals beauty from these longing sighs. Yet know I never let you go, A love that drapes time's ebb and flow. Your laughter echoes in the night, An angel’s touch that feels so right. Though death may claim what I hold dear, In memory’s arms, you linger near. With courage born from depths of loss, I rise anew; love bears the cross. For through the tears that cloud my view, A whisper calls: “I still love you.” by Jules 12/31/2024

Shadows of Another Love

Image
Shadows of Another Love In the quiet hours where shadows play, I long to kiss you, chase the night away. But hearts grow weary, in silence we stay, For life’s harsh lessons turn dreams to gray. My soul is tired, of sharing these nights, When all I seek are your tender lights. I stood at the bend of joy and pain's flight, Yet only find echoes in fading sights. Once I carried laughter like petals in spring, Now blues haunt my heart like a sorrowful wing. With memories dancing and demons that cling, In the wake of love lost—the ache does sting. But through every tear that has drained from this well, I've learned to love fiercely even if it hurts like hell. Each heartbreak a chapter, a story to tell, Of journeys untraveled where dreams used to dwell. So here’s to the lessons spun from my core, In loving myself as I open new doors. While missing your warmth leaves me wanting more, I'll rise from the ashes with strength I explore. Though all my tears may have ebbed with the tide...

I will survive

Image
I will survive  In the shadowed vale of despair, where darkness often reigns, Where the whispers of doubt and defeat lay their heavy chains, I emerge with a heart that's aflame, untamed by the night, With a soul that soars high above the fray, reaching for the light. I am not a leaf in the storm, blown by fate's fickle whims, But a mighty oak with deep roots, growing strong, steadfast, and grim. You'd think to break me with your trials, to force me to bend, But I stand tall and proud, my spirit will never end. Oh, I won't just survive, I'll thrive, I'll rise above, Your words of doubt are but the wind that strengthens my love. Can't write my story, it's a tale untold, I'm beyond the archetype, by Jules 1/2/2025

Trying my best.

Image
Trying my best. In the realm of shadows where the sun doth not reach, Where whispers of doubt are my constant speech, I wander alone, a soul so unsure, With a heart that's a stage for a silent, unseen war. My eyes, they sparkle with a borrowed light, A beacon of hope in the deepest night, But under the surface, the battles rage, In the quiet confines of my cage. You think you know, but you cannot conceive, The labyrinth of thoughts that I must achieve, To find the true essence of what it means to be me, 'Neath the weight of the world, so heavy, so vast. The laughter you hear is a mask I've found, To shield from the tears that so often abound, When I'm lost in the maze of my mind, Where fears and regrets are forever entwined. I've climbed mountains that only I've seen, Swum in oceans where no one's ever been, But the victory's hollow, the prize undefined, For the quest is not over, it's just designed. You think I've figured it out, that I'm f...

The Worn Path of Dreams

Image
The Worn Path of Dreams In shadows where old hopes lie, A heart once bright now whispers sighs, With every chance that slips away, I dance with ghosts of yesterday. You held the skies within your gaze, A promise wrapped in fleeting days, Yet love can wear a bitter edge, And turn sweet dreams to solemn dredge. Oh butterflies that flit and play, Your vibrant flights may lead astray; From changeless hearts to restless nights, Life's struggle dims our brightest lights. Still echoes linger deep inside, The warmth of love we tried to hide. Compassion breaks like waves on shore, Though loss may knock, we'll seek once more. Though no chance brings a soft refrain, I'll weave through blues and brush the pain; For in the scars of dreams unmade, New seeds of strength are gently laid. by Jules  1/5/2025

Under Three Moons

Image
Under Three Moons Beneath the gaze of moons in silver light, A kajira dreams, her heart a soaring kite, With whispers soft of memories in bloom, Each pulse of longing stirs the silent room. In shadows dance the joy of days gone by, Where dreams entwined beneath the endless sky, In every glance, a spark ignites the fire, Her soul alight with unyielding desire. by Jules 1/6/2025

The Fire Within

Image
The Fire Within In twilight’s hush, a kajira sways, Her dreams ablaze in the evening rays. With whispers soft as the nightingale's song, She dances through memories where she belongs. What joy ignites the flicker of light, As echoes of passion take beautiful flight. In each tender glance, her heart weaves a thread, A tapestry glowing where once hope had tread. by Jules 1/10/2025

The Real Her.

Image
The Real Her. She yearned to break free from the chains of her own mind, to release the hidden pain that weighed her down. The silent screams echoed within her, desperate to be heard. But amidst the turmoil, a glimmer of hope emerged, as if through a crack in the darkness.  Happy tears streamed down her face, mingling with the remnants of sadness. She realized that sometimes, one must embrace both joy and sorrow to truly understand the depths of their own emotions. No longer content with simply holding herself together with tape, she resolved to unveil the real her - unfiltered and unapologetic. She questioned whether this was what people wanted to see: a girl who had known sadness and despair, yet possessed an unyielding strength. Those haunting nightmares no longer defined her, for she had learned to face them head-on. With each passing night, she conquered her fears, and as the sun rose, a newfound resilience shone through her eyes. by Jules  01/26/2025

Look to the skies

Image
Look to the skies  In a land of plenty, where fortunes abound, Where gold glitters 'neath the gleaming sun's crown, Lived a man, whose wealth was renowned, Yet within his heart, there was never a sound Of contentment or peace, for which he did yearn, As the world's treasures around him did burn. Oh, measure not a man by his gold, Nor by the lands he does hold, Look into his soul, so true and so bold, For there you will find, the story untold. One fateful morn, as the storm clouds did gather, He woke to find all he owned torn asunder, His house in ruins, his coffers bare, His once mighty ship, now just driftwood there. The village folk whispered, "He's lost his all," Yet he just stood, his spirit to recall. He looked to the skies, his eyes filled with tears, As the thunder roared and the lightning did gear, And he asked of the priest kings, in a voice so clear, "What is the worth of a man when he's lost everything?" The rain washed clean the soot ...

The Dance of Fire Naya

Image
The Dance of Fire Naya In the heart of the night, where shadows entwine, A girl named Naya let her spirit define, With every swift movement and playful desire, She rose from the darkness, igniting her fire. Her body a canvas, ablaze with delight, Colors of passion igniting the night.  Each sway was a whisper of dreams yet untold, A flicker of freedom wrapped up in gold. “I am fire,” she chanted, with grace in her stance, A kajira of beauty, ensnared in her dance.  The flames that she conjured brought warmth to the air, A promise of hope whispered softly in prayer. “My sisters will perish if shadows return; So I fight with my fervor. It’s fire I yearn.”  The rhythm enchanted the stars in their plight, An ambition unfurling like banners in flight. With love as her compass and dreams as her guide, She danced through the tempest where fears would confide. In every soft motion lay stories unspun. Of wellness and kindness beneath our bright sun. Oh, sweet enchanting being...

The Lost

Image
The Lost  A happy ever after, it could have been, Living in a dream, a fairytale scene. But you and I, a disaster's design, A truth I should have known, a bitter, cruel wine. Intoxicated by the stories they spun, I saw the mischief where I should have run. Despite the whispers, the doubts in my heart, I trusted you, a fatal, foolish start. Now I'm alone, a hollowed-out shell, Once rich with love, now a living hell. You wanted it all, my love's golden gleam, And I, so dumb, let you into my dream. I should have run, when I had the chance, Instead, I surrendered to your hypnotic dance. Now all that's left is a numb, aching void, A love betrayed, a future destroyed. I gave you all, my skin, my soul, my best, My finest jewels, put you to the test. You stole it all, for someone brand new, Gave away my sins, my ecstasy, too. To someone lesser, not worth half my worth, My Robin Hood, you pillaged my earth. They sing your praises, your golden facade, But they don't know the...

My Love My Life

Image
My Love My Life In the grand tapestry of time, we stand so proud Where destiny weaves a thread, a story untold My heart beats a rhythm that resonates in your soul As the whispers of the wind carry our vow I've never felt this strong, my love, my life Our hearts intertwined, we face the stormy strife With every step, a new chapter unfurls Guided by the stars, our love is our pearl Like an image passing by, my love, my life In the mirror of your eyes, my love, my life I can see it all so clearly All I love so dearly Images passing by Like reflections of your mind, my love, my life Are the words I try to find, my love, my life But I know I don't possess you With all my heart, God bless you You will be my love and my life You're my one and only Through the valleys of despair, we climb the hill Our hearts a beacon, steadfast and still With every battle won, our bond it grew A force that darkness cannot spill On this journey fraught with tears and joy Where every memory is a ploy...

Feeling the bond.

Image
Feeling the bond.  In the realm where the sun meets the sea, Where whispers of fate dance wild and free, Lies the tale of a heart named Kajira, Meant for a soul as vast as its era. Once owned by one with a heart so cold, A soul that loved not, a spirit so bold, But the stars in their silent throng, Sang of a love that would soon belong. On a path paved with tears and with might, I walked, guided by love's gentle light, Seeking a bond that would never decay, Along the same trail where we'd lay. Then in the shadow of the moon's soft glow, I found you, my heart's true echo, Our eyes met, and time took a pause, In that moment, I knew the cause. Kajira, once lost to the night, Found in your warmth, a new spark of light, The wrong hands had held you so tight, Yet destiny had drawn us together so right. Jules 2/10/2025

No second chance poem.

Image
No second chance poem.  He'd whisper sweet nothings, a silver tongue, Yet underneath, a heart so wrong, He'd lie and cheat, and never belong, To the world of the decent and the young. One strikes you are out, my dear, Your key to my heart, no longer here, In the game of love, you did steer Wayward paths of deceit and fear. One strikes you are out, no second cheer, Our chapter ends, let the curtains clear. With eyes so blue, a gaze so kind, He promised love, a heart to mend, But the devil's in the details, you'll find, When the darkness does ascend. He danced in the moonlit night, A masquerade of pure delight, Yet his soul was cloaked in spite, And the truth was a treasure, not meant. I gave him trust, a precious stone, But he cast it aside, thrown, For the thrill of deceit alone, Leaving my heart to atone. He knew not of the pain he'd bring, As he sang his siren's song, In the dance hall of the scorned and the wrung, Where the innocent do belong. But I am not o...
