Whispers in the Twilight

 Whispers in the Twilight

Beneath the canopy where shadows play,
See me now, a flicker lost in the fray,
A ray of light in moondance, I stay
In forests whispering secrets away.

Hear me now, as echoes twist and weave,
A song of desire that few dare believe.
Don't ask me to follow; my heart's on its sleeve,
In beauty and terror, we dream and deceive.
